Our mission
Our mission goes beyond skincare. At FBL, we want to contribute to a more beautiful world. Not only by offering products that enhance your natural beauty, but also by creating awareness around mental health. True beauty starts from within – with a healthy mind and self-acceptance.

How FBL started
FBL was born out of the passion and determination of founder Lara Beentjes. From a young age, Lara dreamed of starting her own business, but for a long time she didn't know in which direction. As a teenager, she struggled to find an effective skincare routine. The vast range of products made it confusing and frustrating to determine what was really good.

After much testing and research, Lara decided she wanted to create her own line of natural products that she could stand behind 100%. At 17, she wrote her first business plan, then called “Favourites by Lara”, with the idea of selling only her personal favourites.

During her studies in Pedagogy, Lara decided to make her dream come true . At the age of 19, Lara designed a logo with the abbreviation FBL. She found the original name too childish, but the logo and the essence of the concept were retained. After two years of developing and perfecting, she launched her first product on her 21st birthday: the RESCUE CREME – a product she is proud of and fully supports.
